Project Description

Euthenics provided field survey, right-of-way and final plans to the Ohio Department of Transportation District 3 to realign 8 miles of U.S. Route 30 from Orrville to Wooster in Wayne County. U.S. Route 30 is a four-lane divided limited access highway. The eastbound lanes were designed with concrete pavement and the westbound lanes with asphalt perpetual pavement to research the performance of each pavement type and develop life cycle costs. Euthenics' work also included refining the preliminary profile and alignment from an earlier study, optimizing the drainage, and designing 11 bridges and two new interchanges.
