Professional Bio

Ms. Shelby Wilson is a professional engineer with experience in the transportation field including bridge design, bridge rehabilitation, and bridge load rating as well as field experience as an Independent Quality Firm engineer and inspector. She is proficient in design of reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, and structural steel design and detailing. Ms. Wilson has participated in projects throughout Ohio and several surrounding states working on jobs ranging from local and county jobs to large design-builds. Ms. Wilson spent 14 months working in Minford, Ohio, as an engineer for the independent quality firm on the Portsmouth Bypass, Ohio’s First P3 (Public Private Partnership) design-build project.

Personal Bio

Shelby enjoyed working for Ohio University’s Russ College of Engineering and Technology as an Orientation Leader and Learning Community Leader in college. She also participated in the American Society of Civil Engineers Student Chapter and the Steel Bridge Team. Shelby enjoys anything that involves being on the water (especially river kayaking) and all forms of live music performances.
